This special project, initiated by the Ödemiş Chamber of Commerce, aimed to gather Birgi’s centuries-defying history, cultural texture, and unshakeable values under a single roof. Our mission as SALT Creative was not just to design a logo, but to translate the soul of this ancient village—which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List—into a “brand language” that the modern world can understand.

The Soul of Birgi: Stone, Wood, and Time

The design process of the Birgi project began with the discovery of details hidden in the village’s narrow streets. Every element, from the intricate embroidery of the Çakırağa Mansion to the silhouettes of historical mosques and the nobility of the Aydınoğulları Beylik, became a building block of the visual identity we created. In this project, we transformed that moment where time stands still into a fluid and living corporate identity.

Reading Cultural Codes Through Design

During the branding process, we emphasized that Birgi is not just a settlement, but an “experience.” In the visual language we designed, we brought together Birgi’s unique color palette, traditional texture, and hospitality with modern typography. Our goal was to ensure that a local value reached the power of representation on global standards.

A Signature For The Future

Today, the Birgi Branding work is used as the face of the brand in a wide range of areas, from regional promotion to tourism strategies. The identity that emerged at the end of this process, which we carried out with the Ödemiş Chamber of Commerce, has turned into a vision document that combines the wisdom of the past with the aesthetics of today and the potential of the future.
