Brand identity
We clarify what your brand stands for and build an identity that says it in the same voice at every touchpoint.
SALT. Kreatif is an advertising and design agency based in İzmir, Turkey. We start brand identity work with questions, not a logo: who is the brand for, what does it promise, what sets it apart? Once the answers are clear, the name, tagline, logo, colours and typefaces emerge as parts of the same idea.
For the Ödemiş Chamber of Commerce's Birgi project we carried the spirit of an ancient village on UNESCO's Tentative List into a modern identity; for MCP we turned the line "More than Ceramic" into a complete brand language. We work with brands of every size, from long-established Aegean producers to new start-ups.

How we work
01
Discovery
We study the brand, the sector and the competition, and talk to your leadership and, where useful, your customers.
02
Strategy
We pin down the positioning, the brand promise and the core idea the identity will express, on a single page.
03
Design
We present several directions for the logo and visual system, then develop the chosen one together.
04
Roll-out and guidelines
We apply the identity across print and digital, and hand over the guidelines your team will use.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
A logo is only one part of an identity. A brand identity is the whole system: the logo together with the colours, typefaces, visual language and tone of voice, and the rules for using them. We also design standalone logos, but for lasting results we recommend the full system.
Can you refresh our existing brand?
Yes. With established brands, such as Kastaş for its 40th anniversary, we update the identity without losing recognition. We first identify what already works in the current identity and size the change accordingly.
How long does a brand identity project take?
It depends on the scope: a logo on its own and a full identity with strategy, naming and guidelines don't follow the same timeline. Once we have your brief, we agree the schedule and deliverables together.
Do you work with brands outside Turkey?
Yes. Our offices are in İzmir and Urla, and we have worked with clients in more than ten countries. We meet in person or online, in English or Turkish.
